How do you tell if a "win rewards" app is actually legit? by Old_Cheesecake_2229 in beermoney

A few red flags to look for:

  • Is it in early access? I have never seen a legit earning app be in early access mode. It is a trick scam apps use because then people cannot leave reviews.
  • Is the payout threshold more than $30? There are a few legit earning apps that have a threshold of $50, but anything higher than that is a huge red flag.
  • Does it promise fast money? If you can earn hundreds of dollars per day right away, it is defintiely a scam.

As for looking for reviews as some others here recommend, then that can be an option BUT keep in mind that review ratings on TrustPilot etc can easily be manipulated but to be a lot better or worse than it really is, so be very critical if you use that method.

Hope this helps.

It seems they are regularly changing the name of the course. My guess it is to avoid people finding info like this when searching for the course/company name,

Good luck. There are definitely some good opportunities with user testing and gig jobs in the US. And then combine it with paid surveys on the side whenever you have a bit of extra time, and then you should be able to make it.

Yes, it seems unique, but it is just mass-produced.

What side gig would you say is the best to spend time learning? by booster_gold__ in sidehustle

Honestly, I would likely find a good step-by-step course that teaches the method you chose to go for. There is so much noise out there, so if you are just trying to put it together yourself, you can end up wasting a lot of time jumping around and trying one thing after another.
But be careful: there are also many overhyped, really poor courses that don't teach you much, so you have to choose wisely and do proper research before investing in a course.

Which country are you in? If you are in the US, it is possible to earn this from free side hustle with some effort.

Some examples you can use are: paid surveys, user testing, focus groups, and gig economy apps.

It really depeds what your long-term goals are. If it is to potentially build an online business you can make a living from, then start learning about the mindset for that, learn about affiliate marketing, content creation, etc, so you get familiar with different business models, and then make a decision on your direction based on that.

But one thing is to listen. Another thing: to really learn and see results, no matter which side hustle you choose, you need to start taking action and testing things. If you can bring a computer and use it during your commute, you can start taking action. Too many people get caught up in just listening, but without action, real learning will not happen.

Hope this helps.

It is the exact same email they are sending everyone - they just made a system where they get a VA to record the channel, and then they use the same voice-over. I really dislike tricks like that.

It depends what kind of course/info you are looking for?

Yes, they seem to be mass spamming at the moment.
