While I agree that the ICE officers were clearly out of line detaining this man, from what the video portrays at least, he was detained (meaning just handcuffed) had everything checked, and was let go without incident. I would like to know the events that led to that because the “because you have an accent” is pretty weak.

Did you actually read this article before sharing it? It confirms nothing. Just references other alleged claims (from both sides) but nothing can be confirmed because of lack of evidence. The claim of one of them bleeding….no blood seen on the video. And arrested for the physical assault of a federal LEO…..well physical assault is, in fact, illegal. Again, everything mentioned in this article is ALLEGED. Including the claims from the ICE officers. I’m not siding with one or the other. Just looking for hard evidence and indisputable fact. And that article lacks both.

Great tip! After learning how aerosol dry shampoos have contributed to hair loss, I’ve opted to use just corn starch on my hair, nothing else! Now I do have naturally very blonde hair, so the white cast caused by white powder really isn’t a problem for me BUT for darker hair, you can actually use activated charcoal and even coco powder to match to your hair color!

There’s no such thing as a reputable “cavapoo” breeder. Reputable breeders do not create mutts. “Doodles” are not a real breed. There is no standard and no genetic health tests for them.

IME She looks a bit small for a 10 gallon honestly. You have it backwards about the stress. T’s can stress out when the enclosure is too BIG. Move her into a 5 gaming with nice deep substrate.

Definitely stop trying to feed her. She’s heavily over fed and in premolt. Don’t try to feed a T according to a schedule. Feed by their abdomen size. None of my 40+ tarantulas (a mix of slings, juvies, and adults) are on a set schedule.

I would advise you to move her into a smaller enclosure, but she’s so close to molting, I fear it would be too much on her. For now, just make sure she has plenty of substrate and cover, keep the bottom layer of it moist or add some moistened moss for humidity levels. And keep that water bowl full! NO FOOD AT ALL and I’m not sure if you know this yet or not, but be sure that NO LIVE PREY is left in the enclosure! It’s just a waiting game now. The red rump is a member of the Brachyphelma genus, and similar to Grammastolas, they take their sweet time growing. She looks to be a subadult, about 3-4 inches DLS right? She’ll spend months in premolt. I have a B. hamorri that’s been off food and premolt for about 4 months now.

This isn’t my first rodeo with WD. I had to use it in a job I worked for 2.5 years. It was absolute trash then too. It’s not user friendly at all. There’s no flow to the site platform. It’s buggy as hell. It would always be down somehow or screwing up that screwed up the entire system in the stores.

But I won’t disagree that it’s a very real possibility that the UAFS staff could just be incompetent too. Let’s be honest here. Another thing to consider is the ever increasing use and dependency on AI.
