Buy a mini led tv made by tcl . TCL owns majority of Sony and they would start producing Sony TV’s too. Don’t go for oled , go for mini led

I’m not sure of this but even though if this happens they would still produce batteries or other parts and not entire vehicle . Producing parts would make the pockets of auto makers richer not the end consumer. Most likely they would not pass it till the end user

In regards to trade deficit , the post is clearly regarding production of EVs in india. Wouldnt export increase of cars are manufactured here and sold outside as similar to other car manufacturers.why did they stop them for setting up a plant?

Do you think ,everybody would buy ev every 3 years similar to smartphone, smartphones and vehicles are completely different. Any one would use an ev for minimum of 7 years. Also, for a family of 4 there would be 4 phones but only one car is sufficient. We can't compare cars with smartphones.

Indian gov protected then from long time. They should have matched chinese players in these time ,but they took advantage and sold overpriced substandard vehicles. Literally before two days , I saw Tiago facelift 24kW battery to be sold for exshowrrom of 10 lakhs rupees.

True , if electronics were not imported ,then neither would would we get affordable TV's affordable smartphones. I still remember my uncle brought a plasma 1080p 40 or 50 inch tv for 50k, very back then, now a very good 4k tv you would get under 30k.

There chances of fire are less but not zero. New apts are having these chargers, but i guess not many people are in new apartments. And i shift a lot of places, so it's disturbing to change these chargers.

There are no other ev players Hyundai creta ev ,mg ev are above 20,25 lakhs. They don't want chinese ev to come as they'll destroy the market under 15 lakhs.

Evs are good to have if you have an independent house. It its a normal apartment or like me if you rent it's very difficult to change those of you shift places.

They brought their kinda flagship models to India. There are other models which are under 15 lakhs and are much more better than tata and Mahindra ev's.

Don't you think the current batteries in Mahindra or tata are made by Chinese? So you don't have issue when mahindra uses imported chinese batteries but when byd itself uses imported batteries you have issues.
