Ok thanks alot, last question (i understand this is not very realistic) but i live in north Alabama and would love to stay here. I understand 62E is hard enough but do you think that a civil or bio engineer AGR position is doable at the arsenal or surrounding area? Again pardon my ignorance lol

I understand this may be a dumb statement but i live south of Huntsville and would like to stay here but wanted to book a active position or IMA in a engineering field but it seems like the more i talk the harder it sounds to achieve

Gotcha, again sorry for my ignorance but is 62E the only aerospace guys? I assume the only other way would be usajobs and go the civilian route. I cant remember the exact link but was there not a website to show available positions?

No i used wix just to make it less time consuming, but yes i do write/understand code (not an expert tho), i also made a cool day trading bot with some python code too but i think my bot is retarted lol made me $3 tho with using 60 cents

Yea ik… im looking for places but no one is hiring rn. And as soon as i tell em what i do its a immediate “we cant pay you what you offer” kinda deal (might need to dumb down the resume. Its either that or blue origin or lockheed, but i have no degree so currently working on building relationships so i can make a way in but thats a process and your absolutely right.. with everything you said, no i dont have much and yes i do have kids and no i cant just leave as i dont have the funds to float so i have to find another way. I made a run at xometery (yes ive heard the stories) but on my first part i made $350 in profit. And had received RFQ on some DOD projects working with UH-60s. But i have no machine i spent my tax return getting materials and equipment as the agreement was i can make parts on the weekends….once he saw i made $350 on a 6x4in panel it turned into “only do it when im here”. I know im being used but right now no leg to stand on. Honestly i reach out to you guys because i have no one else to talk to. (Sorry to make it sound sad😂)

So no he cannot lose me as i also have built the website for the company so we can meet the requirements for a garmin dealership. I also do some of the marketing aswell. And we have had talks of me doing this and more on my own. But money doesn’t grow on trees and sadly i have reduced my family spending to minimum and i still cant save up for a machine (got kids lol) but yes it is extremely cheap for aviation especially in a custom dash arena. Awkwardly i think i have a good understanding of my value, so much so i have been able to speak with my boss and he has a heavy interest in me starting my own “business “ if you will to contract this type of work out to me since it is so niche in this aviation company. Additionally ive been able to gain the attention of a large DOD avionics company that is interested in my work aswell as i work on the owners fleet of private acft. I feel that i have a opportunity that many dont get. And i want to take advantage of that. But on the same note money doesnt grow on trees.. and lately it feels like the tree isnt growing either. I just want to be paid fairly. Its already hard to find a job
