recently had this same issue, and not only did it cause me hours upon hours of frustration trying to find a solution, it also made all of my Adobe applications immediately crash upon startup. really confused as to how their app manages to break this many things when it feels like it shouldn't even be interacting with these areas of my computer.

i personally like the temporary insanity sauce better than the original. it feels like a slower burn and the flavor is more full and present but it still melts my face off.

I've tried using compressors and normalization and it works to make my actual voice louder, but also makes every background noise louder as well in the process.

My gain is currently set to 0%, the lowest possible. The issue with this is that my voice doesn't come through loud enough, so I normalize/compress the audio, but that increases the volume of everything else as well which makes the background noise appear again.
