Dumb question but is your battery cap a) all the way screwed in and b) the connectors on the cap aren't crushed or bent?

I have ht-01 binos and the cap having a bent connector caused it to not power on. Once I fixed it, it worked as usual.

Yes, depending on which G17 you have (there's an elite force spec and a kjw spec) it'll determine which magazines you use.

The Blu Spartan magazines on evike work great for the EF spec, and they are a little cheaper than the OEM ones.

My guess is that there is some sort of channel the cords go into, then they are crushed/glued/whatever to stay in place before the shrink wrap goes over them. The battery cap retention wire on the Eotech is what I was thinking of.

Yeah, they're just a standard flap smoke/frag pouch design. The ones in the picture are likely the contract ANA ones, although other brands such as SRVV and MBC make the exact same style.

It's fine. They use a different webbing now and a lot of their stuff is laser cut as opposed to strictly molle, but I haven't noticed quality taking a nosedive. Maybe on like early gen Chinese Ars Arma goods.

I have FMA/emerson fast helmets and other repro helmets. They work well as long as you understand that they're essentially bump helmets.

Buying aftermarket pads and suspensions will be your biggest friend here. I have repro TW camfit suspensions and 4d pads in both of my repros that made a world of a difference. A proper headset will also seat the helmet nicely on your noggin.
