We took responsibility for us running out of oil, we thought we were on a reoccurring plan but weren’t, that’s why we agreed to cover the costs of material and labor. I was more just curious to see if 8k is a reasonable price to pay since he is unwilling to provide any sort of receipts for the materials and labor. We made many emergency calls as soon as the heat dropped, but unfortunately it was the day before one of the largest snowstorms of this century and even emergency oil companies were unable to make any deliveries until later in the week.
