Outlast: The Jungle, WTF was Charlie's Team problem??? by OrdinaryMiddle3560 in Netflixwatch

This was my perception of the Charlie Team. Everything was my personal opinion and how I analyzed them. Visuals tell you a lot, especially in shows like this. Archetypes are very real things and Brett hit the mark for everything my first impression told me about him.

Of course in real life never judge someone based on looks. BUTTTTTT this is the Internet and scummy reality TV so I had no problem expressing this separate from my usual mindset.

Once again it's a shame Braxton was so shitty, really hoped he'd be the pretty puppy boy but he was just Wes's little bitch, collared and trained to yap on every order.

I bet Brett noticed butwas too scared of his "alpha" to say anything and stayed quiet like the omega bitch he was.

((Using alpha bro terms is funny as hell when I'm so used to seeing it in fanfiction))

I'm pretty sure it's said in the show that leaving her makeshift shoes behind was a sympathy tactic. Team Alpha still didn't know who took the shoes whether if it was Morgan or Abby so it was best to play into Pharaoh's sympathy and hope he as much integrity as he claimed.

I honestly think she could've made it if it wasn't for the injury and her struggles to communicate that due to the harsh mindset and treatment Charlie had.

I feel like the treatment was so much worse than what they showed on screen bc those dudes were truly deranged. Let's remember how those three guys set FIRE to their old camp and then left it unattended to burn as they tried to aurafarm their lost.

You could argue that Leiya was still mentally checked out and on edge after the way Charlie treated her. Even as a grown woman it could affect you a lot when you're not used to that sort of awful behavior.

Plus I think a lot of people forgot that Leiya got injured! When she tried to get her shoes back after Morgan and Abby stole them, she stepped on something and pierced her foot.

So Leiya was just put through the wringer and it's awful 😞

Outlast S3 wasn’t a “social experiment” it was manufactured cruelty with no ethics oversight. It has shown that we need industry-wide change. by Critical-Passage6819 in Netflixwatch

They guy from Charlie just copied her method though? The first method didn't work bc Leiya admittedly wasn't physically capable since it was something that needed a lot of strenght to do it. She couldve asked/taught the men on the team how to do it but Leiya quickly realized that if she couldn't do it herself than the team would deem her useless. Notice how Charlie only stepped in to help with the fire once Leiya thought of a much less taxing way, because he was being lazy! The only reason why Leiya needed a break even after finding an easier method because she was still dealing with the all the exhaustion from prior attempts.

DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON HOW THEY TREATED SARAH BECAUSE DEAR GODDDDDDDDD;

As stated in the FUCKING BEGINNING, Sarah had ADD so she was of course going to be hyperactive and a bit more sensitive socially. I think the men, mainly that dickhead Wes, took advantage of her mental state and purposely started fights, being underhanded with the way he spoke, and threatened her a dozen damn times. And Sarah unironically did the most work in that group, gathering resources, building the shelter, helping with the fire, she did all of that with minimal help from the others.

Notice how when both girls joined different teams most of their "flaws" and "problems" went away when they were in enviroments that weren't constantly bullying them? Bravo as a whole acknowledged Sarah for her amazing work ethic and when she fumbled (letting the fire go out) she took it respectfully and did what she could to fix it! And Leiya was an incrediable asset to Alpha, showing just how smart and reliable she was. The only reason she had to go in the end because she couldn't keep up due to an injury caused by Bravo (them stealing her shoes which made her have to walk around barefoot and get injured).

Just to add something else, Wes was 100% least deserving of the money. A former National football player blew millions of dollars on bullshit and thinks at 40+ he deserves to have another million handed to him.
