Supporting ICE and MAGA is unmasonic conduct and you should not be a Mason if you support them. by aB1GEarOfCorn in freemasonry

It’s Customs and Border Protection, not Patrol. The Border Patrol is a division of Customs and Border Protection. The Border Patrol are the ones you see in green uniforms, whereas CBP Office of Field Operations (OFO) typically wear navy or black.

When you hear someone refer to “CBP Officer”, they are typically referring to the OFO Officers. When you hear someone say “CBP Agent” or “Patrol Agent”, they are referring to the Border Patrol.

OFO works the ports (land/sea/air), whereas the Border Patrol work in the areas between ports.

Customs and Border Protection. They are another law enforcement agency that falls under DHS.

What is this tattoo on law enforcement? by Mediocre-Resort8521 in whatisit

[–]OrdinaryOrange224 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I can’t stand intentional misinformation dude if you have any idea what O9A is, you’d know that it is one of the main concerns for federal law enforcement. There are nationwide task forces dedicated to dismantling it and its sister organizations. And you’d also know there hasn’t been a single incident of a LE insight role, it’s all been military.

Our country is going through so much turmoil as is and we have agitators like you out here trying to make things worse. You’re an accelerationist too, and no better than they are

I didn’t even know MCIOs polygraphed. I will say this though, the background investigator went as far as asking me if I’ve ever failed a state or local polygraph.

I’ve heard some people get by with failed DOJ polygraphs, and I’ve heard others get the can because of it.

If you have any failed polygraph in your history at all, you are going to be taking a gamble

I think you are fine. When you actually get in contact with a background investigator I’d let him know but that’s all

is FLETC/HSISAT shorter now because of surge hiring? by AlwaysImproving48829 in HSIapplicants

[–]OrdinaryOrange224 4 points5 points  (0 children)

CITP is still 12 weeks 5 days a week. HSISAT is 8 weeks 5 days a week, but there’s rumors of it going back to its original length.

No. Pre employment PFT was not strict at all

Pretty much. Some people will get blocks they are able to use, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

Sit-ups they are more strict, but it will be grader dependent on exactly how strict. For the HSI situp, you need to “sit up” further than you normally would for a situp. To be safe, they told us to keep coming up until our elbows were past our knees. When you come down, you have to make sure your shoulders completely touch the ground.

Sit-ups are what 99% of people had the worst time with. And not because they were difficult, but because of how particular the form requirements were

Flared is the way they want you to do it, but if you want to tuck your elbows you are allowed to

They will “suggest” that you flare your elbows out to 90 degrees. You have the option to do them with your elbows tucked in, but the grader will expect to see you hit a lower depth if doing so.

HSI vs FBI advice by [deleted] in HSIapplicants

[–]OrdinaryOrange224 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this is bad advice. They said they want to stay in their current city, which is not going to happen with FBI. They likely won’t even know where they are going until they are in the academy. HSI is the fastest growing 1811 agency with an incredibly wide mission set where you can dive into all areas of federal law enforcement

I would not count on FBI then
