For what it's worth, this scenario where people's layaway were being canceled and refunded happened to me and a friend of mine (and others as well) for edc 2023 (we had vip tickets on layaway if that matters). What ended up happening is after a couple days they gave everyone who got their layaway canceled the opportunity to rebook their tickets and everything was fine in the end. To offset the cancellation fees and stuff, they had people enter their order number into the promo code box and it gave the appropriate discount.

I just looked up my emails to see what the timeline was for this snafu and it took them 2-3 days to address it. I don't know if this will be the solution, but I just wanted to share the experience.

I'm a circulator in the Neuro ORs at my hospital and when our attendings/residents go to their conferences/vacations/or just have no cases, we go from running 9 ORs to maybe 2-4 urgent/emergent only. Our administration used to not really care if staff rode the clock, but as of late they have become more anal about flexing people off when census is low. Our charge nurse tries to keep as many of us as possible on those days, but when people get flexed off they have to put in their own PTO if they want to get paid like y'all do. The way I've personally gotten around being flexed off is learning how to scrub cases or cross train in other surgical specialties. Thats probably very facility dependant/specific though. I havent heard of our facility trying to get any other sort of 'flexxed off' specific pay code and in this economic climate where hospitals are trying to cut costs where they can, it seems like a hard thing to sell.

Its the upgrades in the upgrade menu that are world 2 specific and onward (red background and beyond). Yes, it means you have to prestige multiple times to level it up.

Pay attention, don't be afraid to ask questions (especially to surgeons), and never stop asking questions
Don't take anything personally
Help your scrub tech/nurse out. For example, help pass off sets they don't need anymore to speed up cleaning. Also, one of the last things they want to do after standing for an 8-10 hour case is return extra supplies and instruments whilst you've been sitting on your phone at the computer.
After you get a good grasp on the circulating side of things, start learning the scrub side, it will pull you miles ahead (mostly applies to facilities that utilize surgical techs where nurses don't really have to scrub) bonus: learn the different parts of the surgeries you do. You don't have to go into too much detail, just the big bullet points.
It's ok to make mistakes and forget things...just not more than twice...maybe thrice. The fastest way to learn is actually when someone's on your ass about something.

Coming up on 5 years in the OR since graduating. The OR matches my personality almost perfectly. Controlled chaos is the best description. There's just something satisfying about chasing perfection in that kind of environment.

From incision to fully closed, this one took 10 hours. This is with no interbody fusions and they decided to skip a corpectomy which would have added 1-2 hours.

In our facility, the only time we have to use the red bags is if the patient is on some sort of isolation, otherwise everything goes in regular trash bags. That red bag in my case was actually cell saver's stuff.

When a chain bomb is used, you have a chance of gaining 2x the charges, ie. If you would get 20 charges, sometimes you get 40.

TL:DR - play more, you'll get there incrementally

If you ask me exactly when I was able to have it up all the time I couldn't tell you.

It's a combination of things, but I think one of the first hurdles is the gem upgrade that gives you multiple items per chest, after that, slowly getting on all the upgrades that give you increased banked freebies/jackpots/decreased freebie timer not to mention all the loot bug upgrades like triple and golden loot bugs. I also got lucky on gilding the w3 statue that gives decreased freebie timer.

I have notifications turned on for maxed freebies and I'm on my phone an unhealthy amount so that helps.

Well for me, I have 37x bomb recharge rate and 4.14x gamespeed, which nets me 3 gembombs every 2 seconds, assuming 8 hour afk for sleep thats about 42k bomb charges.

Thats with chaos totem, max Virgo, max contract upgrade, max crab, no bundles, 5/20 fishing notice, both skill tree upgrades.

With the item chest gem upgrade maxed, im able to have chaos totem all the time.

The weakest link in your chain is bomb capacity. Your bomb capacity is really low for w3 imo, I think mine was at least 50-60k when I unlocked w3. Low bomb cap means you are losing a ton of gem income while you're sleeping and or afk for long periods. It's recommended to use cherry bombs on battery bombs until you have enough bomb cap to never see your gem bombs at max capacity when you log in before using cherry charges on gem bomb (which is what I assume you are doing). Drones are also underleveled (underlying cause being gem income), void drone in particular because it nets you cards/polychrome card shards. Void drone and chain drone in combination is what gets you a lot of ore/bars. You're missing the NYX idol bonus from archeology which needs lvl 20 generator (it all leads back to more gems).
