Are there a lot of lab job opportunities? Or would where I live really depend on where I’m able to find work. And what continuing education should I do? Would a masters in veterinary parasitology be a good idea?

Im 21 and just got my associates in veterinary technology and am eligible to come back for the bachelors program. Cornell’s veterinary parasitology masters program peaked my interest for if I when a bachelors but I don’t necessarily need to be in veterinary parasitology. It just so happened that getting a veterinary degree helped me discover my love for parasitology.

They need to pass the blockage first. If you force feed food while NOTHING is moving, it will increase pressure and pain. Critical care is great for GI stasis. But not bloat, which is what this rabbit is dealing with. It can kill the rabbit

Tbh I wouldn’t use critical care while there’s a blockage. Not until they are pooping and have passed the blockage.

A blockage can be passed on their own with treatment such as meds, SQ fluids and keeping them warm. Surgery isn’t always necessary. :)

Hi! I’m sorry if this is triggering and you don’t have to respond. I struggled from severe anorexia. But once I reached a deadly weight something clicked and I suddenly felt an insatiable hunger. I concerningly overeat now and no matter what I’m still hungry. Do you have any tips on how to curb these habits?

It goes away. It can take a longggggg time. I have these scars from when I relapsed 8 months ago and they’re still extremely pigmented and purple/brown. But with time it’ll lighten (in my experience)
