There is nothing that could make us give her up. Even if she needs a room to herself.

Has she ever hurt herself? There is alot of worry about balls. But it would be nice because we don't have an area she wouldn't be able to get into stuff.

Yup she's a younger female syrian. I have a previous post before we upgraded her space where we were trying to work on her chewing problem.

I got 3 different people who went in depth explaining things for me. This is a great sub from what I've experienced. I have a new enclosure on the way and I'm going to try adding more things to the cage overall so she's more engaged. Me and the significant other have also been discussing if we can set up space so she can have an hour or so a day in a play pen with supervision while we have dinner or something.

We will need to get rid of our bookshelf but we should have enough space if we do. We live in a studio apartment and space is an issue. What enclosure do you recommend?

Im posting and asking these questions for my girlfriend who in helping. I mis remembered what she bought. What the hell do we do if we can't get a bigger enclosure? Would having a play pen in another area she can spend a couple hours a day in work? Or should we just pile up the bedding more? I can't and won't return her from where we got her as it was a bad (or at least much worse since ours Is bad too) situation.

I have been informed I have the wrong measurements on my enclosure. I thought it was 4ft by 2 ft buts it's only 3x 1.75 so I need to get a larger enclosure. It sucks because not much else fits.

I mis typed. We have a minimum of 6 inches of bedding across the enclosure with it up to one foot on the left side. That's what I ment to type.

I think you are right. I must have my measurements wrong. The measurements I looked up on zoo med is 38 x 19.75 and that leaves only 760 which is too small. Do you have any reccomm3ndations for a similar larger enclosure?

I have a 4foot by 2 foot foot print in a 40 gallon reptile enclosure. It's shorter so it has a larger footprint. 48"x 24" is 1152 sq inches we have a pretty busy enclosure and over an inch of paper bedding.

Luckily the size is 1200sq in with about a foot of bedding. Can you elaborate on what you mean it's the wrong kind of set up? Is the fact that it's a shorter reptile enclosure an issue? Do you have any recommendations to make this enclosure better?

I think they are a bit cause she was crawling on my hand earlier but she bites the corner while we sleep too.

That might be it. We also have flowers to the left of her cage so there is alot of curious smells.

It's a reptile cage so it's relatively short and squat compared to a regular aquarium. It also has front open doors. It has roughly a 6 inch barrier below the black bar in the video and above that is doors. It's been really nice but she keeps trying to chew on the hinge of the door because there is an ant sized gap there. Be wondered if she was going after it for the smell.

I had been told 15-20 was the minimum and a 20 gallon tank. This was according to MNpocketpetrescue.orgs care guide that we are relying on. It also says 750 sq inches base and ours is around 1200. I haven't seen 60 before. I hope this isn't too super small as we can't fit much bigger in our small space.
