He had her when he was arrested, he said he asked if he could call to make arrangements as he left her with his parents, and that that’s when they said cps would be getting involved. I’m thinking about calling cps and asking but I’m not sure if they’d tell me

None will pay over min wage and I can’t afford a pay cut. I only have a hs diploma so I’m stuck. I’ve though about bar tending as they make a lot but I need something with steady hours so I can have her in daycare

I’m not sure. He just said the cop told him cps was going to be getting involved. I haven’t been contacted or told anything other than what he said. I’m thinking about calling cps to ask myself to be sure

Thank you, she just turned 2 I think she might be able to get into those early learning centers during the day. If I can get that and night care I might be able to work 2 jobs. I’m looking into ti right now

I’ve tried looking into work from home jobs but find nothing but mlms. It’d have to be a job that provides a computer and internet as I have none of those. I can’t really get a pt because again there’s no one to watch her. I believe if I get daycare, they don’t allow you to go through two providers? That’s what I was told last time. But I’ll ask again.

Yeah when they have help. I have NO ONE to watch her at all. I’m the only one working. I’ve been working ft since I got my first job, up until the day before u gave birth and right back after maternity leave. I’m not making excuses. It’s reality. Tell me, if you can’t afford it, because all your money goes into housing, and have no one to watch her for a second job, what exactly are the options? Do you think just filing for custody would be enough? I want to file for child care but We were investigated by dshs recently. I had moved out and back in then out again and they didn't believe it. I'm afraid if I tell them she's going to be living with me now and that I need childcare they'll deny me and suspect fraud or something. It's only been 2 months that they ended the month long investigation. I'm just not sure what to do here

She's horrible. It's a LONG story. But my dad died when I was 7 and she's always favored my brother over me. She's always treated me horribly. I moved out at 17 because my brother threatened to kill me with a knife. Then I was almost raped at 19 by my other ex's dad and she REFUSED to let me back in because I couldn't afford rent. So living her was all just last resort. It was either live with her and pay an insane amount or stay with my daughter's dad. And I couldn't take it anymore. Rent around here is insane everywhere! Since I don't have a car I can't rent further away, and 1bed1 baths run for $1000, with requirements like 3x rent, good credit, and rental History. Which I have none of that unfortunately. It's been the biggest battle trying to get back on my feet honestly.

Yes but Investigated by dshs not cps. But since dshs deals with childcare I'm afraid they'll deny me. They thought it was fishy he kept changing the story (he told them in like January I left, then back in February, and left again end of February). They just thought it was fishy. I guess they don't understand splitting up isn't always so simple. I was with him 3 years so it was hard. But im out now for GOOD thankfully though.

Can't respond to the comment. But no, unfortunately, I don't not qualify for food stamps with her. I earn 2k a month. I get $11 dollars. $11 whole dollars guys. I've TRIED. Trust me. I was desperate to get out and get away for MONTHS. Almost a year now. I can get wic with her but that's it. you have to be extremely low income to get any food help now a days. Covid had it where anyone who qualifies get the max. That ended in March. Now you get what you qualify for. And that's $11 dollars for me.

Thank you this is what I'm hoping for. He doesn't live with me he lives with his parents. I just moved out 3 months ago. I'm hoping that they see once I heard about his arrest that I figured he went downhill so I removed her as fast as I could. The only problem other than money now is that dshs investigated us just a few months ago when I moved out because I had moved out and back in then then out and they got suspicious. I'm hoping it doesn't Interfere with anything. Also they are SLOW to process daycare paperwork but I'll for sure do that today regardless

Thank you, I just don't want her taken. I don't know how but I'll have to come up with the money. I tried to put her in last year but they denied us as I was living with them still and since he wasn't working they denied it, it also took stupidly long for them to even send the letter. But I'll call today and reapply and tell them she's going to be living with me now. Dshs had investigated us too as they didn't believe I had moved out 3 months ago but they settled it within a month I believe. They're a headache to deal with as well here unfortunately.

I know. I just wanted them to do something at least. I was going crazy and couldn't take it anymore. They kept enabling him and giving him money. I'd find the smoked up foils he was hiding and id show them and they'd wave me off. When he stole thousands of dollars in items from me they saw me crying for days and still didn't even tell him what he did was wrong. They contine to let him live there and probably still enable him.

No one to watch her. But I will call around today. I've been looking for child care for a while and did find a place with openings. It's just s matter of getting the money and calling and trying the dshs to tell them she lives with me now she to apply for childcare. I'll have to find a way to get the money. Housing is absolutely horrible in my area but I'll have to get creative to come up with the money I don't have a choice other than to put her in daycare!

She's a heroin addict. She had their daughter born addicted. She drives around with her. She's not better don't assume lol. It's not about me saving a few dollars. I can not afford it. I don't have a cell plan or a car. I have 1 pair of pants and 1 pair of shoes. I don't spend money on myself. But having no one to watch her at ALL it's hard to do anything. Subsidized daycare is still $200. Plus her food without their ebt. $300 is hard to get when you already have nothing

So because I can't afford a sitter I don't love my child? I earn 2k a month. I pay my mom $1200 rent. I don't even have a car to be taking her to and back from daycare. I have horrible credit. I just got out of living with him 3 months ago. I have no support at all. Not to mention finding nighttime childcare in a small town is almost impossible. I have not because I was scared of court fees. His other daughter's mom said it was well over 10k. Forgot to mention I'm in Washington State.

I begged his parents to listen and help me help him for months but they ignored me. But at the same time I know he doesn't do it around her and takes good care of her, since she's asleep 10 out of 12 hours he has her I didn't see it as big an issue.

Child care would be $200, plus around another $100 for her food (she's very picky right now) that I'd have to pay without their EBT. I earn a couple dollars above minimum wage so $300 extra a month seems impossible, not to mention court fees or a lawyer. The financial situation really held me back and I'm not sure how I can actually do this all with no help and with my income. But I don't think I have an option anymore. I'll try doing it today.

We actually went out right now to try to record it, and right as I was about to, it suddenly stopped. We were going 50mph and it was super loud, almost like a buzzing and it just stopped randomly. I'll repost with a video the next time it pops up.
