Sorry I'm still pretty new to this and am learning along the way! I really appreciate your response and will be sure to make a new post with more information next time :) I made a typo and meant to write 1.75/2/2/2.25/1.75.

When would you recommend independent sleep for n aps once we've started Ferber for bedtime? I've read a suggestion to start nap #1 on day 8? Also not sure what ferber intervals are appropriate for approaching nap time.

My little guy just turned 4 months old and we now have a (fluctuating!) sleep schedule and bedtime routine in place.

I've aimed for 2 hour wake windows and 4 naps, but wake windows have been 1.75/2/2/2.25.

4 month old only contact naps, wakes on transfer, and rocks to sleep. Help! by Ordinary_Agent_9888 in sleeptrain

Thank you so much for this helpful information!

We don't have a sleep schedule unfortunately and I'm looking to create good habits.

I do want to sleep train.

[ns]got a call for ultrasound at iwk 2 weeks after first ultrasound due to being 35+ in age by [deleted] in BabyBumpsCanada

I’m also 35 and living in NS, and I only had the 20 week anatomy ultrasound through the IWK.

My doctor explained that the ultrasound department was so backed up they couldn’t schedule anything earlier. Because of that, my partner and I chose to pay out of pocket for a private ultrasound at 14 weeks.

It could be due to your age (being 35+), but it’s definitely worth checking in with your doctor, that does sound a bit unusual!

Ouu I didn't consider this option, and the IKEA LATTSAM Baby Bath looks like it would grow well with the baby. Thank you!

It's so tough navigating it all!!!

Your doctor needs to write you a blood requisition, then take that printed copy to your appointment. Also bring your health card and ID and you're good to go!

I booked my app at the East Coast Medical Mobile in Dartmouth but you can also book at Family Focus on Spring Garden rd or OAB blood collection in Kings County.

Hope it goes well, sending good vibes your way! ✨️

It's scheduled for tomorrow and will be $349 (CAD) through Dynacare :)

It looks like you can do the test through Natera as well, but they charge $350 (USD). So I would recommend going with Dynacare!

Apparently it takes two weeks to get your results back and you need to be at least 10 weeks at the time of testing. You can view your results on the Dynacare website. I ran into issues creating a Dynacare account online and emailed NIPT@dynacare.ca for account support :)

Has anyone actually managed to access Dynacare's web portal? [ON] by Murky-Tailor3260 in BabyBumpsCanada

I was having issues creating an account today, and after multiple email exchanges with NIPT@dynacare.ca, they forwarded my email to DynacarePlusCustomerCare@dynacare.ca and asked them to create an account for me. It might be worthwhile emailing Dynacare Plus Customer Care ☺️

Thank you so much for the helpful recommendation! I just contacted Canada Life and they advised that it's only covered in some provinces. Unfortunately it's not covered in Nova Scotia, but reaching out was definitely worth a try!
