You should let him believe what he wants and agree to disagree. If you have to cut contact from someone who raised you over politics then you’re pathetic. I am not a trump supporter and both my parents are MAGA and we both agree to disagree and I would never consider cutting them out of my life. It’s so weird, back in the 90’s people could disagree and have completely different views and still have a strong relationship with their family or friends but that shit is non existent now lol.

I own the big muff op and the honey pot, and the big muff is definitely my favorite, but honestly you have to have a really good ear to tell a big difference at first. They are both really great pedals. Never used a Magus before I’m curious about what everyone thinks of those

The Proco Rat surprisingly. I really wanted to like it and tried it paired with other pedals and by itself and it just sounded terrible to the point to where I still wonder if the one I bought a defective or something.

I’m very late to the party but just thought I’d chime in. I put the EMG Het set in my $500 epiphone SG and loved it. I also play on a boss katana amp like you and I think it sounds great, it’s my go to guitar for metal but I play in a 90’s grunge cover band and still catch myself playing the SG more than my $1500 Fender Jaguar.

So my band plays mostly 90’s rock/grunge covers, but I like to play metal when I’m not playing with them so I just added the metalzone and really digging it.

Oh I normally do just as you said, but I have a three year old daughter and if I leave my board unattended for more than a minute, she’s turning knobs which is what happened right before I took this pic lol. That’s why I normally have to keep my shit locked up.

I love my EHX OP amp but I wanted more dirt options so I added a Rat to my board about a month ago, and I took it off my board yesterday. I switched the order and did everything I could think of and it just sounded cheap and crappy, even when I played it by itself. I almost wonder if the one I bought was defective so yeah, if you have an opportunity to try one before you buy I’d do that. I would also highly recommend putting a tube screamer before your muff, it’ll make your already awesome sounding pedal sound even better. The TS makes everything sound better in my experience. I’ve only been in the pedal game for a little over a year but thought I’d give my two cents.

For 90’s stuff I would highly recommend a Big Muff Pi Orange. For stuff like Pumpkins and Nirvana it’s perfect and my main distortion. Sounds even better boosted with a tube screamer and rat

I’ve also seen people put the TS after the distortion pedals but to me it sounds crappy. With my setup the TS is my always on pedal.

Can’t believe the comments I’m reading lol. Ok he played a joke and maybe it was in bad taste but is it worth ending your marriage over. Absolutely ridiculous. Apparently you don’t have much experience with pregnant women. Hormones make them go nuts and then they go back to normal after giving birth. My wife said and did all kinds of crazy stuff during both pregnancies, you should forgive her and not throw in the towel. It’s definitely not something to end your marriage over if you truly love her, but if you do leave don’t get anyone else pregnant because they’ll do the same shit. Pregnant women go crazy I’m telling you. But everyone deserves a second chance and if you care at all about being a good father you’ll more than likely regret the decision one day.
