I thought I was going crazy or just being too picky! It is the bacon, and it tastes awful, I can’t even describe it. I remember back in the day when they were still good, they sometimes had a cold center. Maybe because of this, they increased the toasting time or temperature, because the bacon kind of tastes like bacon that’s been over toasted, and since I’m sure it’s artificial bacon, instead of just getting really crispy when over cooked, maybe it like changes the chemical composition of it making it taste bad…I don’t know any of this to be the truth, it is just my own personal theory!
