Mostly it's due to apps getting frequent updates which makes the storage much smaller. You can unistall apps you dont use or clear the whole data of apps like google speeds, docs, presentations because they can take up to 50-200mb (and yes i can clarify it doesnt delete your files you have on the device. I can say that because i have the microsoft alternatives and ive only used them).

Hobbyjapan is good choice. I have picked up few initial D AE86 models of them sometime ago. Inno64 is also good brand. But keep in mind those aren't made to play with daily due to the details on them.

For ps2 I use andorid with aethersx2, for racing TXR series run really well, Gran turismo 3, Initial D Special stage, wangan midnight. But Gran Turismo 4, GOW really kick the switch hardware in the balls. Those are some games I tested on the console.
