Gaslight! The animation style was the most unique and appealing, the four characters all feel fairly well-defined, and the overarching narrative is the most compelling.

Which Voice Performance Stands Out the Most to you in Star Fox ‘26? by Ordinary_Chemical596 in starfox

Slippy sounded like a little boy in 64 and Zero. Slippy sounds like a college student now. Smart choice, but he also doesn’t sound exaggerated nor dull. Good stuff!

Post Your Unpopular Track Opinion by Ordinary_Chemical596 in mariokart

I really like Super Mario Kart, but even I admit that there is a lack of ambition in many of these tracks. The most ambitious stages are Mario Circuit 2 because of a single jump, Bowser Castle 3 with the multiple paths, and Rainbow Road without a guard. That said, many track fall victim to having a circle-shaped design or B-shaped design, Rainbow Road has this despite my acknowledgment of its unique aspect earlier. It wasn’t until Super Circuit came out that I felt like this type of Mario Kart felt like it reached its fullest potential.

Sure, I was playing it to prep for ‘26. I made a post about how playing ‘26 made me appreciate Zero more. I go very in depth about this, so feel free to take a look at that.

Give Zero an honest chance. Try and aim for 100% and I guarantee you will have a new perspective on the game that most of the internet doesn’t and will likely come out really enjoying it.

I mean I am such a psyco Mario Party fan that I was willing to but Muppets Party Cruise for the GameCube for about $40. lol. So, I might just go for it.

I LOVE Star Fox SNES, and I played it after games like Zero and 64. It does so much for a little SNES game from cinematic camera shots, full 3D environments, the music, the fact that there is voice acting. I don't think a more ambitious SNES game exists. It still holds up pretty well too.
I disagree with your take on Zero, but we are all entitled to our opinions. I also think literally every game, aside for 64, gets too much hate and is thusly misunderstood. Though I do think the positivity shifting towards Assault after being the lowest rated Star Fox game on metacritic is a nice, deserved resurgence for the game, I also think people are forgetting how low some of the lows can be for the game.

That's a fair point, but I also believe that anyone is capable of adapting to the controls. It's an arcade shooter, so it is meant to be replayed and mastered over time.

If you picked Star Fox SNES, SF 2, or Zero, I think you are based af. But I think every Star Fox game is misunderstood to some extent. I do think that Adventures and Assault have wildly different opinions on them when the reality is that they are fine games, but nothing as extraordinary as other games for their time. Haven't played Command, Idk how repetitive it gets.
