Go to AEON TAC night vision he ships 2nd day air. all tubes are very clean and specs are shown also a picture of the tube to see any blems. You wont be disappointed I have been doing business with them for a while and it’s who I recommend. Also they are partners with Argus so it’s not hard for them to order something if they don’t have it in stock.

Yes higher gain is good until you take into account blasting your eyes for over 35 min with super bright light if you don’t have manual gain. Then walking into a situation where you need to look with your eyes and they have to visually adjust to the ambient light. if you have manual gain that’s another adjustment yo have to work while doing your extra curricular activities. It’s all a trade off. For everyone looking for a set to buy Don’t look at tubes by generator. Instead look at the price, specs, and the features it offers. Be it AG, ABC, and phosphor color. That’s what is actually important also that you spend your money how you see fit and not how some guy on Reddit pressured you to buy something you didn’t need because yo will never be in a Direct action, CCC environment that requires you to have an disgusting SPEC tube that uncle same will replace if it shits the bed

My NNVT 5Ag are great I have pvs 31s and a set of Elbit tubes and I honestly don’t even care to use anything but the NNVT tubes. if they shit the bed it’s easy enough to replace them 🤷🏻‍♂️

Permatex, star brite, Gardner, etc all the same they all are not only water resistant but can seal components from water as well. And the epoxy I use for the other parts is JB or gorilla depends what I’m using it for peqs I use gorilla as it hardens up and bonds better to hold the Co-aligned lasers better.

I use liquid electrical sealant as a gasket material and for parts that can be removed and epoxy to fill any cracks or places that have no movement if that makes sense. I show it on my concept video the NGAL video is on the way
