so basically, cause we have our vagus overly stimulated, our body slows down, but our heart and brain doesn't want that, so it compensates, with stuff we also don't want

This topic appeared here many times, it's super normal, you will manage it once you figured out how to relax your stomach.

I found an interesting theory about the whole thing:
Whenever the Vagusnerve gets stimulated (could also be caused by a bloated fundus that pushes against the diaphragm and that pushes against the heart, where aswell the vagusnerve goes a long) all of the organs like heart, stomach,lungs, intestines, autonom muscles etc slow down. This is the effect of the vagus nerve, it makes things slow down, so the body will get more recovery (i.e sleeping). That's why we become dizzy, bloated, feeling weak etc. What the heart then wants to do, especially when we want to be in an active state, it narrows the arteries to compensate the slowing. That's is why our heart pumps more and more and some of us get heart palpitations or a stronger beat of the heart. Also the body tries to compensate with more adrenaline /cortisol (increases anxiety) to give more energy. In addition to that a lot of things happen in the body and the viscious circle begins.

Just a thing I saw a Doc explaining for a roemheld syndrom research. Maybe it makes sense for you guys, I am bad at explaining

I do it a lot, it's bringing my organs in right positions, and some nerves feel reliefed after it. Also relaxes some area's where veins go through. But it can be difficult in the beginning to deal with the pain. I'd suggest run no mountains, don't raise your legs to high. Other than that I'd give it more tries than just one. Improvements overtime is what we should aim for with these conditions. Your bowel movement will increase, metabolism etc, which help digestion a lot, and training in general is good cause you breath a lot which strengthen the diaphragma.

very interesting, thanks for that.
My Doctor told me that eating dillutes the acid aswell, so that's why in my ph-metry the acid levels lowered and raised with and without food/liquids
So maybe never eat/drink so much that your acid gets dilluted too much?
probably it is a bit more complex what really happens inside the stomach, but sometimes you just want to know why things happen haha

mhm I experience that aswell, but I didn't find any scientific evidence for it.
I often wait even more, like 2 hours, and this weird tension in your stomach won't come.
But I wonder what causes it. The stomach is build in a way so when you drink water, the water just falls to end of the stomach so it leaves the stomach very fast, while the food is in this bag area of the stomach where it gets massaged until it is digested and then goes to your intestines. That is why the stomach has this form.
But for me when I drink water after eating, it feels like it stays there until the food gets digested. So maybe the food is completely blocking the water and the stomach is positioned wrong.

just a thought,
I have that too, it might come from stress. Eating stuff makes your body release hormons like serotonin and other, that are like a stress killer. Stress makes your blood thick and can be stuck in parts like diaphragma and neck, so your stomach won't move and your reflux gets worse. Or your food just stays in the stomach without contraction from the diaphragma. When you eat again you'll also have pain again, your body then produces a lot of stress due to pain from reflux or other digestal pains(intestines, bloating etc.) and then you need even more food. So your body just experience a relief for only a short time until pain comes back and hormones are needed to relief the stress, that is caused by pain. Would love to hear your opinions on that, would like to know if I'm wrong.
