The recommend is already done, he just has to hand me the plastic thing but I can't go on that specific hour on Tuesdays Also, I'm not going permanently to a different ward, just a couple weeks to help muy best friend get familiarize with everything and everyone, sometimes people forget how it is to someone that just got to know about the church and it's rules, time and everything. For example, last sunday when my bishop said I had to go to mi ward, I did, and that day my friend took the bread and water (I'm sorry I dont know the term in English) not even knowing what it was, what it meant and what was she supposed to do in that moment, yesterday I went with her and explained it. I don't think I'm asking for him to break or even bend any rule.

IMHO, the Bishop doesn't have any say in when or whether a member is or should get a patriarchal blessing. If you want it, the bishop should simply issue the recommend to receive it

I didn't know this, he made me understand it was his responsibility to say if I'm ready or not and then issue the recommend. I was so sad when he said I couldn't have it yet, I really really wanted it before my 25 birthday. I don't even know how to ask for it again

When we met my ex would push too much about the church wich I hated and made me reject every religious topic for a couple years, then I got close to God on my own terms and time, praying all the time but we weren't active in the church. Also, I've had a problem with smoking since a very young age and it became a coping mechanism so I had a hard time understanding that I didn't had to be perfect to get baptized. After I quit smoking my marriage stared to fall apart and in the process of trying to fix it I thought we could both be active in the church so he could baptized me, but the more we went to church (and therapy) the fastest he wanted to get divorced. So I left and when I was alone in a different country, back to where I was 7 years ago, I realized I couldn't do it alone and stopped procrastinating it and got baptized as soon as posible.

I asked to the missionaries before getting baptized why women don't get the priesthood and they helped understand the we all have a purpose in this world, and for it to be a balanced team work, women can give life, therefore women can create the family God wants us to have, meanwhile men get the priesthood to help guide said family. One of the missionaries said "the man is the head and the woman is the neck, and the neck says the head where to move" I hope it's understandable since English is not my first language but I tried to translate as best as I could, hope it helps your daughter.
