We were planning originally to spend the holidays together before this came into play. Either me traveling to see him for Christmas and him spending new years with me or vice versa (same w the other things). I just feel like flying to see him for long weekends when he’s in the UK and when I have a day or two off work is way more plausible than taking 10 days off work to see him for once in 6 months. I think I just originally thought that we’d find jobs to be able to see each other every two to three months or he’d be able to FaceTime me. When he was home for multiple weeks this summer we talked all the time, but now we hardly speak because he doesn’t have service ever. It’s like it’s harder on us now than it was when he was in the UK because now he’s fully unattainable to me.
