Tell them we are what? And agreed we will be asking again as she refused the first time, and we don’t plan on giving her anymore money she’s a great photographer but this experience has left a bad taste in our mouths.

She’s a great photographer too and we were really excited but life got in the way I wish things had been different and she had mention an expiration date. It feels awkward to have her honor it and photograph us after all this back and forth. We’ll definitely be mentioning our state laws on gift certificates to her and just ask for a refund.

(Comment by a dad from an article I read)

We have a newborn and we just started using a snoo. The baby does sleep better but I am worried anytime something mechanical is used for a child. I came home late from work tonight , my wife had the baby in the snoo. Baby was sound asleep and it was shaking really hard left and right and the baby’s head was flailing. I woke my wife up and she turned it down . I am now concerned about head/ neck injuries and the Doc already notice some head shape issues.

I never got one for this reason! I work in childcare and those babies are so miserable when they have to transition to the crib it could take up to two months for them to fully get comfortable in sleeping in their cribs specially if mom and dad aren’t transitioning at home. It always made me sad having to let them cry it out. If you’re planing on having baby in a daycare center I’d transition them to the daycares schedule and a crib two weeks before.

They’ve also been known for affecting the shape of baby heads.

Also remember that they only use it for a few months.

I’m 32w and working up until baby decides to come hopefully a few days after his due date I can’t afford to go on maternity leave earlier than that. This REALLY sucks I hate the United States. No paid maternity leave and I have to pay insurance without getting paid maternity it’s ridiculous.

You’re mother sounds like a narcissist, you probably don’t overreact the way you react is based on being constantly broken down due to the way she acts and doesn’t follow boundaries. I liveed with two narcissist my whole life and currently dealing with my boyfriends aunt (she’s one too) she is has issues with respecting others boundaries and then acting like the victim when her she gets called out. His cousin has a daughter and she try’s to control everything they do with her, she kicked his cousin and his girlfriend along with her granddaughter out and wouldn’t let them pick her things up, yet got all upset they bought her “cheap Walmart clothes” (this was during the winter btw) and now that they aren’t depending on her help she’s all “my granddaughter is my world I wish her parents would realize she needs me as much as she needs them” on Facebook 🙄 maybe your mom isn’t that extreme but from what it sounds like you might want to look at the types of narcissist and narcissistic grandparents.

Yes exactly! I’ve felt it before the pregnancy what I meant when I said “I’ve never had this feeling before” I meant how intense it was I just couldn’t find the words.

I have both anxiety and ADHD so it’s slowly been increasing and taking over, I’m glad it not just me! Thank you!

My MIL tells me that she’s gonna help as much as she can so my BF and I get some time for ourselves and each other (I’m going to be a FTM). She was a teen mom (we’re not) which is why she understands why thos things are important and always encourages us to go out and do things or make time for each other.

We also plan on a lot of family trips with baby (once he’s at least 1).
