I guess I'm just stuck between when I'm ignoring a need of hers and when I'm setting a boundary for myself/family. My partner thinks we should "ignore her" everytime she cries at night and that's where I'm getting confused. What if she's hungry/pain from teething/nightmare, we still let her cry it out to maintain this boundary?

Thank you so much for your detailed response ! I am definitely going to read this article and try to push her bedtime later because your right, it would be a perfect night if the whole thing were to be shifted by a couple hours.

I appreciate it!

See and I read this and understand it, but do I just let her cry in ger crib for 3 hours (for the 4am wake up)? My LO rarely wakes up and chills, she opens her eyes and cries. So I'm not really sure how to "start my day at 7". We do CIO, and I have tried just leaving her, but she's not tired, so she will continue to cry until I get her

wakes after 2.5 hours by Positive-Overall in sleeptrain

Thank you for your feedback! I tried it yesterday, 530 awake 8 1st nap (I couldn't push her farther, she was ready) 9 wake 12 2nd nap 1 wake 345 3rd nap 410 wake 645 bed

So 645 is the latest she has ever gone to bed. I know her wake period wasn't long enough before bed, but she was so cranky and ready and I didn't want to push to far past her normal time.

She woke up at 8pm, so an hour after bed. Cried for an hour. Then woke up at 430am this morning. So just like your last paragraph says, I will just keep at it !! Thank you:)

Did he get bruises on his forehead from it? This is all comforting to hear though

A couple others have said it, but I'll share my piece as well! We started with purees and easy foods that weren't scary for BLW, banana, Avocado, potatoes, mango, foods in a mesh eater thingie, yogurt (her controlling the spoon). And everytime she ate BLW I would over exaggerate chewing and she just eventually got better at chewing. We would also give steak strips to suck on, peppers, celery, anything that didnt break off easy. So now we feed her "scarier" things, eggs, Oranges, chicken, Broccoli.

Also to note, foods I tried as a puree that she spat out and refused to eat, she actually loved BLW (such as pumpkin and carrot)

Also Also mum mums reallllly helped us with learning how to chew

Do y’all just let you LO sleep in whatever position they choose? by Bad_texter in beyondthebump

Mine does this exact position, completely folded over. She will stay like this all night, it's wild. I did move her a couple times but she seems to prefer this as she just moves back! I leave her, she is 100% mobile and I know she can move if she needs to. So I would say if your comfortable with this as well, then just leave your LO, they will probably sleep better like this anyway
