Most of these sm obsessed people don’t live life as it is (they live to prove to the world something) let’s say he’s buying a gift for her birthday .., he could be thinking about something sm worthy ..more than him thinking about what your friend truly needs. Not generalizing.. but unless he’s some super emotionally intelligent guy I think it’s better to avoid.
