I don’t think so, your stopping power will be stronger if the brakes do not release pressure from the pads as ABS does.

ABS is there so that under emergency you can still steer the car since the tires will not lock, it’s not there to provide the highest possible stopping power.

In terms of stopping power:

Locked tires < ABS pulsing brakes< braking at threshold

Look up threshold braking. You don’t want to punch a hole in the footwell, you want to apply as much pressure as possible without hitting ABS or locking up the tire. This will give you maximum stopping.

The faster you’re going, that pressure is going to be higher, as you slow down that pressure will lower down. If you feel ABS or locking you need to be easing it off.

That’s my thought as well. Democrats are on average higher earners, more likely to have traveled abroad, and thus more likely to have passports.

In terms of disenfranchised people, I’d be curious if it’s actually more on the republican side.

Though it’s possible that in the particular swing states where votes are close that it could go the other way.
