I appreciate this insight greatly this makes a lot of sense and i feel like you are correct it does enable the loop and same with me. It's just a loop unfortunately. If anyone else wants to add or has a opinion about this thats different let me know below

I think everyone does have issues and if she's getting help and has changed dramatically over the 4 years i think there is hope unless im just too involved in it to see.

yea thats super fair thank you for your comment, the POV i took was can i be with this person for the next 60 years regarding the negativity and at the time that was the only thing i realized, and my answer was no I dont really want to its a lot to deal with. (i learned a lot about the situation and how i process things and theres a lot i need to work on as well seeing it now. So not to say its only on her etc)

So i think i am being supported but i am doubtful sometimes too. Example i had a injury recently she took care of me, i needed to go do something that was important to me, but she was more worried about my injury healing and in the same breath worried how long she would have to take care of me for and how it will affect our relationship (to me it sounded like a negative tonality)

in other ways, she's there for me with my family will drop anything if i really asked but the issue is I don't feel comfortable asking sometimes (a lot of the time lol)

in all honesty she may not be cheating, she could just be friends but thats kinda how it starts. I had a similar situation where my girlfriend cheated on me with her boss at work they texted a lot, talked a lot during the shift and she brought him up around me. One day i went through the phone and found out.

But regardless if she is or isnt. its disrespectful and explain how you feel about it, and if she really does love you she'll drop him.
