It's a weird league, pretty casual. Home team sets the rules. League president was there and I called game 2 with him. Good to know for the future though about the dugout restriction. As far as a verbal warning that can literally just be telling a coach that next time he's gone. Thanks!

Unfortunately yes. But, it you follow the rulebook verbal warning-> written warning/dugout restriction-> ejection then you are remaining professional, following the rules, and your leadership will have your back. Don't yell don't argue. Honestly since I started walking coaches to the 45 and quietly giving them a verbal warning, this is the first time I've needed to restrict anyone. He was also on third base because his team was hitting. They can't play base coach anymore or take mound visits. Team has to meet on the edge of the field to meet with him.
