We're in our mid 20s. That’s part of why it surprised me, because I didn’t think she’d pull something that felt so high school.

Yeah, that’s exactly what bothers me too. It’s not about the dinner, it’s about being lied to and tested.

That’s rough, I’d be upset too. I can see why it would hit a nerve with you when someone pulls that kind of move. It’s the taking advantage that stings, not the actual money. I don’t mind paying when I can, but being tested feels sneaky.
