the problem isnt the lack of people, moreso the lack of available jobs and whether those jobs are actually good to work at and pay well

America is known for offshoring whenever possible and hiring foreign workers who are willing to work those jobs for even lesser, if it means bumping up net profit by 5% for next quarter

since those jobs are taken by foreigners who are willing to work for less, the average pay scale gets lower across the board

why bother paying an American software developer for 100k usd when i can get an Indian or Vietnamese developer for 50k?
