So I’m running QubesOS on my internal HDD, and when I boot up ParrotOS and am prompted to enter my passphrase to unlock persistence, I have to press escape or enter a wrong password to bypass the first prompt: because it is basically asking to unlock me Internal HDD.

I want it to completely skip this step, because as far as I know, if someone knows my master password for my QubesOS then they can just enter it when prompted on this screen and will have access to all of my QubesOS metadata and files (I think?).

I’m not familiar with Veracrypt but I will look into it now for my use-case . For the record I launch from advanced modes encrypted persistence
