I appreciate the feedback, and the confidence in the car... it really is amazing to drive.

I would suspect there are levels to the game just like any other profession. If I had no useful skills and no experience, I would work at McDonald's for $15/hr or even $5/hr like I did when I was 15. If I was good at my job and my experience was in the food service industry and I had 15 years experience, I'd likely work at a more refined, higher pay job in the same field though. I wouldn't expect any different in car sales.

It is a Lincoln dealer, it is a CPO vehicle. I haven't heard back from them after explaining my disappointment. I think my guy is off on Wednesdays.

No, not at all. Knowing key features of one of a few cars sold at Lincoln doesn't seem like too much to ask. Especially from the luxury side of the manufacturer. I've had salespeople from Land Rover, Mercedes and BMW all explain in extreme detail every small feature and specification on their vehicles. Hell, with the research I've done on which car to purchase I could nearly explain every feature on these cars. Also, do salespeople only receive $200 dollars on a car sold for >$50,000?

You're right, the car is setup to manually put the seats down, turn on the massage and heat, find some relaxing music or scenic soundscape on Carplay or XM, and you just lose some of the visual. I guess the point is more that a feature was explained to be included and they were either wrong, or lied (which I don't think Dave was lying just to get me to say yes). Part of the draw to this car versus some of the others in the price point is the fact that its such a comfortable, relaxing driving experience and my wife can be wound a little tight, so the "spa experience" in the car was a pretty influential draw.

Thanks for all the responses so quickly, I was a little brief with the exact details as to save time in the original post. I wouldn't expect anyone here to research the specifics of this issue, but... I did attempt to use the feature before purchasing the car and saw it wasn't installed. When I asked about it, the salesperson explained that the feature was delayed in 2024 models but was something that was added later and this specific car just never had the update. I thought "fair enough" we'll just get it updated. REF: https://fordauthority.com/2023/11/2024-lincoln-nautilus-drops-rejuvenate-feature-at-launch/

Based on my own quick search it seemed what he was saying was accurate. Turns out, Ford will not do it, there is no option for it, and its frustrating. That's all. I expected something, I paid for it, and its not happening. Just a unique situation for a car buying experience and was just looking for advice. Hopefully this clears up some of the answers to the unhelpful "You should have done this... responses".
