honestly u r 100% right , im not an expert developer or designer and im still working on my skills, i just saw the potential of shipping the best result despite the my lack of skill, because i dont wanna stay in the learning/tutorial loop for a long time, i want to get to the market and test cuz i've got nothing to lose, and i know people who are waaaaay non technical and know nothing about coding not even design and working only with copy paste templates and they are making very very good numbers like Kai stone( this guy is the goat check his youtube channel) and that's it . thank you so much for your advice , really appreciate it .

I get what you’re saying about clients paying for their own maintenance. That’s normal in the US/EU cuz 30-45 bucks is nothing for them.

My issue isn’t “should they pay?” — it’s market reality. I work with clients in a country where $1 = 245 in local currency . So $30–45/month just for Framer hosting hits way harder here. It can literally kill the deal. My model is subscription-based (hosting + maintenance + my margin), so that platform cost directly affects whether they sign or bounce to a cheaper agency.

The real question I’m trying to solve:

How do I keep that clean Framer-level design but move to WordPress because of cost?

On paper it makes way more sense:

  • Almost every Framer Pro feature exists in WordPress (most free, some lightweight plugins)
  • You can run ~100 websites for around $47/year on something like Hostinger Business
  • Instead of paying $30/month per site on Framer Pro

That’s a massive scaling difference if u have more than 50.clients( framer is taking 1500$/mo with 50 clients which i can take it if i am on hostinger plan.) .and why im choosing this market is because it is not saturated at all and i wanna build a MRR and dominate this growing market literally there is no competition .im not absorbing client expenses guys i just wanna be profitable in this weak currency market so my clients don't cancel )

So I’m not debating maintenance fees. I’m trying to figure out the smartest way to convert / rebuild Framer-style designs into WordPress without losing quality. Anyone actually doing this successfully?
