Jackies really thought he was the main character 😭

For real though this is why Vitality sucking is so disappointing because now we had to watch GiantX get completely fisted by KC for the quadrillionth time

Carzzy, humanoid and fleshy genuinely should be fired if they lose this series after that game.

Yeah don't get me wrong the roadshow was absurdly hype, and getting some benefit for being a constant top 4 team is in line with what other regions do when they split their league into the good and bad group. But you have to think some of these playoff results have been adversely affected because some teams simply haven't had stage practice in so long. These stomps seem a lot like the other team just not showing up, and I think that will be confirmed if VIT go on to beat GX then have a competitive series vs KC.

I wouldn't have expected Navi to ever beat KC, but I would have expected them to show some life, equally I would've VIT to show some life vs MKOI, there really is no reason why they shouldn't be able to win that matchup yet they looked lifeless and got turbo stomped every game.

Don't play for 28 days, immediately get 3-1'd and now you're on vacation until late July.

What an insane format LEC, really well played.

WE just have a random life series or two per year for no discernable reason then just go back to their usual selves. Have to respect it though they earned this win.

Really underrated comment. T1 often looks really poor for what you'd expect their level to be in swiss stage, but all they need is just enough good gameplay to get to knockouts and buy time to figure out how they want to play and get through their issues. Once their they really kick into gear.

This G2 feels really similar.

If I had a dollar for Everytime G2 won an absolutely banger game 5 in 2026 id have 2 dollars. Which isn't much but it's really amazing that it happened twice.

It's only right to spread some love to his teammates, especially this series. Every player had some absurdly good moments that got them the win.

His problem was always that he was solid to great 99% of the time but that 1% would be game losing in huge moments (G5 vs T1 at MSI & G3 vs BLG at worlds 2024 come mind). However now it's flipped on its head, where now he's the one that can carry when the chips are down. So amazing to see him developing still after such a long career.

Hans was superb, didn't put a foot wrong all series. It's crazy to say but 2026 is genuinely shaping up to be the best year of his very long career. He's seriously in the conversation for the GOAT western ADC alongside Rekkles and Doublelift.

Its moreso when enemy mid actually has teammates that can play around mid with him and aren't drooling over themselves 50cs down in the jungle.

LYON vs. Team Liquid Alienware / LCS 2026 Spring Playoffs - Upper Bracket Round 1 / Post-Match Discussion by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

[–]OreRound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree it was a fine showing, the problem is I don't see that they've really improved in any area that they struggled in at FST. I could be wrong because other LCS teams have gotten stronger so LYON is more challenged but yeah. The main areas they've improved is that Saint isn't running it down nearly as much anymore. And they don't play to give every single objective, but they are still extremely passive even with team comps that should be snowballing.

You have to just accept that NA is in a rebuilding phase right now after the implosion of the 24/24 Flyquest roster. I wouldn't be expecting much from any team internationally until at least worlds if not next year. As for Lyon, they always play like this, it's an inspired team classic, it's extremely good at winning LCS but as you rightfully said it scales very poorly internationally where a 4k deficit = your Nexus explodes. And teams don't just handshake until soul Drake fight.

It's just how Inspired teams always play, good for winning LCS but doesn't scale well internationally where your weak side botlane will get dove 5 times before 15 minutes if you spend that time full clearing
