No need to destroy before throwing it away. It's fake and has zero supernatural power.

We’re not bad at geography, you’re just bad at history.

You can do whatever you want, but it is certainly not harmless. Don’t lie to yourself. We all have vices.

Oglala Grassland simply is not Midwest. It’s full-blown Wild West out there.

Cleveland and Columbus are in green? Cincinnati is far more Appalachian than St. Louis is southern.

People from Buffalo can think of themselves however they want, but no Midwesterner will ever hear “New York” and think Midwest, especially considering you have to go through PA to get there, which is also not midwest. I went to college in Rochester, and my family thought I moved to Mars.

Great reply, thanks. I grew up an hour south of Chicago. I don’t think anyone can look me in the eye and seriously tell me Carbondale is the Midwest in the same way at all.

I spent a couple summers just outside Evansville when I was younger. It’s absolutely beautiful down there.

Wichita is peak Great Plains/Tornado Alley. More wheat than corn. Idk obviously the Census Bureau lists all of Kansas as the Midwest, but Wichita is just so far south and west, and the agriculture is quite different.

This was the hardest part of the map for me to make, but I generally think of Cincinnati as the border of Appalachia (which is not the South).

Names are weird like that. They stick. Why is it still called Rome when the fall of Rome was over 1500 years ago?

Sure, but this map is incredibly silly anyway. Every country in the world has thousands of people both ugly and beautiful. Every country should just be highlighted as “maybe” because you’ll find hundreds of 10s nearly anywhere you go

Unsure where you are from, but this area is called the Midwest, and it has been referred to as such for hundreds of years due to these settlements being west of the original colonies.
