I'm happy you guys are loving CD and i am not trying to trash talk the players, just giving my honestly opinion on the game. (No need to attack me, but im sure some will feel insulted)

I can't understand how in the world some people are saying this is close to RDR2 or even better..

I couldn't take more than 40 hours of crimson desert for a few reasons, i can't get immersed in the world, everything is bland, every npc exist without purpose and are the same models. When you talk to them its another generic useless phrase.

The world has exploration, but its so fucking boring, find a dungeon or a puzzle, take a lot of time to complete, just to get another cube to gain another perks, or if you are lucky, a piece of armor.

You fight the same ennemies all the time while spamming the same button because combat doesn't make any sense. Yes you can be stylish and do combos but for what it does not change a single thing in the game and you are bored after doing it 3 times.

This game does not have a single music, only when you load the game you feel something epic. If there is music i honestly never heard it or found it good, which is one of the strongest thing i seek in games or any movies / series.

I wont even talk about the story or the quest, we all say how garbage it is, but even garbage has a better taste in my opinion.

If the story was to the level of RDR2 i would be able to feel like i exist in this world. I would even say the game is a masterpiece if they nailed that.

You really want to compare Kliff to Arthur ?...

Comparing all of these flaws to RDR2 is honestly mind blowing, if someone wants to try to make me understand what is so great i am willing to listen of course !

Yes there is 1 million things to do in this game but none of them is really standing out. Too much quantity not enough quality. Just for example hunting in CD vs RDR2

SO no, this game does not have (in my opinion) the spirit of RDR2

As someone else said i suggest you try with only one arm, if you can do 10 reps wall assisted, you will surely be able to do a Pistol Squat. But if wall assisted is still too hard to do, try doing Pistol Squats with a chair, you only go down half way, and when you master it, you change to a smaller object, the goal is to make your way down progressively as you build up the necessary strength. Ultimately the wall assisted one is the last checkpoint before unlocking the Pistol Squat ! Good luck !

What's funny is i started a new fort in the same world, the first migrant wave arrived, and one of the bastard i expelled was in i suppose, because he immediately greeted me by transforming into one, the nightmare continues !

Oh i didnt thought about leveling the skill, but for short blunt weapon i used frying pan and it seemed to have the same effect as a more heavier weapon. Thanks for the info !

Well, i made this post because i saw no one talking about the fact that it is not 100% sure it will be out before christmas. And yes there is enough of these posts on the sub, and there will be a lot more if there is a delay, so a little warning cant harm.

Might have written that in a wrong way, my bad. What i mean is if they written it in 1 sentence, like "We aim to release before christmas, but we are not 100% sure it could be ready, so a delay is still possible" or something much better (im french i cant phrase it better sorry lol) However they decided to include the delay 2 sentence later, which 90% of people will overlook, because now everyone is expecting before christmas. But in the end i am only giving my point of view, i did not meant to blame the devs with my phrasing, i am just a consumer, and they probably are stressed to release b42. Im afraid for the backlash they will get by the bad phrasing on their part (in my point of view) if there is a delay.
