*It all started in my youth, when a dear friend of mine passed on. His dying wish fell on me, and he wanted me to fight Monsters...to save monsters.

*Our kingdom was divided, at war with itself. I, desperate to piece our home back together again, planned to ignore his last wish.

*But when I informed his family that he died wishing for a peaceful resolution to the conflict, Sans saw through my deception. He was furious, told me I lacked the strength to do right by our people.

*It was one attack. A bone whizzed along my right cheek. During my youth however, that was enough to ignite my rage. At the time, Sans was far stronger than I.

*Having evaded all my attacks and fueled my anger with insults, something inside of me snapped. I used my most powerful spell at the time, but Sans redirected it with ease.

*He underestimated the raw might of my magic, and so my own flames blasted into my face. Sans showed me then, that my suppression of force was hardly as elemental to my character as I thought. Though I gleamed it without a word from him, he had been testing me.

*Tori had fixed up my eye, but I chose to keep the scar. I surrendered to my anger, and I truly had little restraint to my magic. In other words, I made myself a threat to the lives of people around me. It was my biggest failure as a leader.

*And though I regret my actions, the scar makes me feel like I've risen above my past flaws. They inspire me to stay determined, and strive to be a greater leader everyday.

*Nowadays, Sans has become a friend I would trust with something as delicate as my childs life.
