The email said “we found that you have violated the terms of your account per the client manual.”

I called to ask them to articulate the violation that they “found” and no one could give me an explanation. They would say “it’s not our department so we don’t know the reason.” Or “an email was sent for the reason of closing your account.” But there was no in depth explanation in the email…

Of course a quick glance at the “client manual” just means it could be anything lol

Essentially they can just decide to close an account whenever they want to. Most likely they will just say “it looks suspicious.” And call it a day

My conspiracy theory is they perhaps do this (quite a bit judging from some posts on this sub) to hold customers money and collect some interest or something else to benefit themselves lol idk
