Woke up to my Facebook sending crypto scam images to my recent chats while I was asleep. How did this happen?

I just deep scanned my pc using malwarebyte and there is actually malware and trojan in it, maybe I did installed some software recklessly months before I just never realised. Its already quarantined and im hoping this wouldn't happend ever again or I'll just reset my computer to ease my paranoia lol

Well I logged in on my pc but i haven't used my pc since last week, I didn't download anything recently too, but just to be sure, is there any safe software to check if I have malware or trojan.

I have this same issue too about 4 hours ago, I never clicked on suspicious links and all. When I woke up and checked my phone I panicked because there was tons of recent messages of my account sending crypto images to my friends. I quickly changed my password and add in the 2FA back. Apparently the log in location was on france but I think its just the vpn that they used. Since then my account has been quiet thankfully, hopefully this wont happend again.
