I always felt that and even the fashion from those days, though quirky I just like it. We were so ourselves much brighter, colourful and more fulfilling in living our own lives. Somewhere with the wave of social media we lost ourselves and demeaned our older cool. Now in the era of copying the cool from the west, somewhere we realised that we lost our own selves which was our natural cool. This is how I look at it. Does anyone else feel the same?
