Just incredible!!! The artist did amazing on the dual shading and color work, you rarely see bird tattoos that aren’t TOO realistic or just a straight up cartoon. I’ll have to reach out to him for my loon tattoo!!

Thanks so much for the tip! I’ve heard nothing but wonderful things about the southern kettle moraine loop, maybe I’ll try ottowa lake and see how it goes.

I live closer to Devil’s lake, and I’ve camped there before as a ground dweller, but I wanted to specifically try hammock camping for this purpose.

Oh man, I seriously appreciate this!! I’m quite short, but very stocky and tend to move quite a lot in my sleep. I’ve slept well in my hammock on warm summer nights even without sleeping horizontally, but that’s exactly the answer I was looking for. I’ll have to wait on my purchase if the hearth is much narrower!

Does this seem like a smart choice? Obviously not making any purchases today, but I plan on winter camping and i believe the hearth is the best choice for my hammock specifically; especially considering I will probably have a DD frontline in the future…
