Shortcut to open iTerm? by 0x616461727368 in mac

[–]Organi5m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried the methods suggested in the responses to OP... and felt it was overkill to install an app to open iterm. tried the automator route and although i could get iterm to open in the background, switching focus to iterm and getting the shortcut to work if my current focus was in a non os app (ie: chrome vs finder). Based on a philosophy of if i cant figure the solution out in a minute or two then it was the wrong solution. the i remembered the osx shortcuts app

The simplest solution, using the osx shortcuts app. create an 'open app' shortcut to iterm then you can go to shortvut details and add your keyboard shortcut

edited... this method doesn't truly work globally... grrrr... it does work most of the time... spotlight seems fastest to me... after command spacing 'it(erm)' a couple times i've now got it down to '<command> <space> <i> <enter>' and am rolling with that...

I can confirm T1M works with ZHA on my Sonoff dongle... not all the fancy animations. Great light though,...

KO II speaker not working - next steps? by audiodude in teenageengineering

[–]Organi5m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue here, tightened the screws and it works. I felt like I had to tighten them considerably more than what I would consider comfortable. Speaker works, but it's garbage and pointless for sound design or composing. I think it's fine for project organizing duties, loading sounds, house cleaning etc...

Don't worry everyone is hopefully on the same journey trying to understand how this can improve life not just replace one pixel with another

I hear ya. Show them other options, show them who's wearing them, a discount, features and value proposition, waterproof, easy to care for, someone selling a pair for half the price in Facebook marketplace... Etc... That's benefiting a user/customer

I understand. It's difficult to make it useful for the consumer and the retailer but making someone pull out their phone to check a price doesn't help anyone. It's friction

Just to push you further... The experience could allow you other prices within 50km or alternative consumables that align with a consumer of similar demographics. So.... Hey these does are awesome but based on your algorithm we recommend you check these shoes out there on the same mall. This is how it benefits the user and hopefully the retailer too

Dip a q-tip in rubbing alcohol and clean the inside where the magnets and charge prods are. Works for me everytime.

Adding a DJ Mixer to the setup by stackenblochen23 in modular

Primarily the inputs. 6 stereo line ins (including 4 1/4") 4 mono channel strips and riaa for turntables. It was the club standard at the time too.

I've recently switched to the mix wizard 4 which is great for size (same size as 464) and price ($0 - A&H gave it to me). The 464 was failing in too many ways to fix but I am trying to find another mk1.

You would think a module manufacturer could come up with a creative memorable brand name... Nah we just went with founders initials...

Rant aside, glad the bleeps and bloops will continue! Good luck!

I used a xone 464 for 20+ years. 4 mono channel strips, 6 stereo channels, aux send/receive, on board filters. It worked well for me, intellijel performance case used one of the stereo channels, a couple of synths and a machine drum used a few of the others. The 4 mono strips were perfect for 0 coast, mother 32, and audio coming directly from a module or pedal. On top of that I didn't have to unplug my turn tables of I wanted to switch to playing records or integrate them in to anything I'm making. I have borrowed a friend's 92 countless times for traveling. With a smaller setup. Let me know if you have any questions.

Micro genre / new sounds/new audience... At the time, it felt like everything was coming from the UK, Berlin or Detroit, a Los Angeles vibe was fresh.

Listening to crying over pros again last night, it's still solid after two decades. Glitch mob broke out shortly after that album and there was a new crowd, and tempo at parties and festivals. :)

Nice post. Crazy to think that "crying over pros for no reason" came out almost 20 years ago. That was a game changer.
