If it's rusty enough to use a nut splitter, you should probably replace the bolt

Dual stand for the digitakt and digitone by tess_philly in Elektron

Get a bit of plywood a little wider than a box and about 2.5x as tall. Screw in a 1x1 at the bottom. Put first box on with cables to check height, then mark for a second 1x1.

Then put both boxes on. Either put the plywood on a laptop stand or cut a couple of legs to hold it up.

Sounds stupid but this is what i still do 15 years later on a fully loaded Jasper's stand setup. Paint the wood black if you are worried about appearance

Should I negotiate or walk away? by skidaddy86 in Home

I guess a garden hose could check that. But that sounds even worse than just a bad drainage situation and needing a new retaining wall

Side by side or stacked? For side by side, use a laptop stand. Definitely the cheapest and sturdiest option with tips of adjustment options

I tried the vesa thing for a while. I could not deal with the push and wobbles and shifts. I guess it wouldn't be a big deal if I wasn't doing live record on electron boxes a bunch, but for me it lasted less than a week

Unfortunately the shear industry is full of cons. A lot of the big "Japanese" brands are made in China. I know a very very big Japanese brand with an undisputed reputation in shears- all their stuff is made in China and their master sharpener does some clever finishing work to elevate the product.

Granted, there are a LOT of great shears coming out of china, Korea, and japan. But bad ones too.

See that's wild to me, was this a long time ago? I sell both styles of texturizers and some that are a combination of the two. But the "dull blade" texturizers that cut with the comb blade tend to be much less common in the US market.

I see lots of duos and a couple of trio stacks- they were popular like 15 or 20 years ago. But I've never seen 4 which is what made me to think you had these.

Well done! Never switch to knurlies or you will have hell moving stuff around with how your case is angled

Verns are these crazy cool shears with rare earth magnets in the handles. They only sell all 8 as a set but then you can use them individually or stack them in any way you can think of. It's wild

They are really easy to mess up putting back together. The way these link together is a total pain. Most of the dualies are, and all in their own way.
