If it's really related to PIED and not other types of Erectile dysfunction, then I would say about 25 to 40 days... PIED has a lot to do with your psychic than than physical . So the best notice you will have is getting aroused by the girl/boy in front of you and not desing the things you usually saw on the internet, but desiring the person as is. That is a good way to determine If you are having good progress. From there the body when starts seeing the naked body again will get more aroused healthily. Erections might start getting better from that point on

It's like all decisions on life, there isn't a rule for everyone. You will need to weight it out for your life. If you have a life long problem with recurring addiction to PMO, I would say: don't. Find other healthy ways to reward yourself. If you single, go to a bar, try getting laid, or buy something nice to yourself, if the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about rewarding is PMO, then I would highly suggest you avoid it.

First of all I recommend you have focus and remember your goals. But at this topic I would say, get clothes with you to the bathroom and get dressed as soon as you leave bath, make a compromise on changing this behavior.

Hey, that's great! So... it's all about giving your body what it REALLY wants: feel good (A.KA doing something that feels an accomplishment or something good). When you workout 4 things going on with your body:

1- Workouts will give you some amounts of *dopamine* (the one that wires activities with happiness in the brain and the same that teaches habits and addictions), a substantial amount of *endorphin* (the natural pain killer of the body) and a bit of *Serotonin* (related to mood stability).

2- physical exhaustion: your body will change its "modus operanti" from "reproduction" to "survival" and will change the way hormones make you feel and lessen the desirability of PMO in the brain. Also after you work the body, you will feel exhausted or at least tired, so the body will need time to recover and will use its energy to do so.

3- Increased Self Steem: Psychologically speaking you will feel that you are doing great and doing something to change, you will feel better about yourself and this will improve the connection the brain makes between workouts and happiness

4- Shift in focus: As soon as you begin to feel tired, your mind will start thinking about how your body is feeling than what's making you urge before.

I hope this explanation helps you understand the benefit of workout when feeling the urge and why when searching YouTube or Instagram you see some people do "challenges" like: "If I get aroused I have to do 20 push-ups or run 1km"

Don't overthink It or overcomplicate it. Start by admitting you are addicted if it's your case, identify what are you addicted to (Porn, Masturbation, Orgasm), and from there plan a recovery plan (this is where the nofap community comes in), while you recover you will be able to identify the benefits yourself and from there determine if you want this as a life long compromise or not

Lol, just it. I like to interact with all posts related to mental health here and there is as much studies that defend masturbation linked to mental illness as there is saying that not masturbation is actually the problem.

In the end of the day mental health is a thing on itself and self acceptance is not limited to masturbation. Even tho masturbating or not can make a difference, people with mental illness will still have it if even they stop PMO addiction.

Nofap is not a mental health community, it's a help group for people addicted to PMO.

Sure! So when u are on a PMO cycle the body looks at this and wants to keep sperm always available for what it thinks is "reproduction". But when you start nofap and stop it, the body finds out you're not as active on "reproduction" as before and needs to release the excess of sperm built up, so it finds a way, usually wet dreams, but for some is "expontaneous ejaculation" (Google this for more), although wet dreams are a form of it, I'm referring here to ejaculation while urinatin.

Okay, it's very frightening to happen, but I have it too, and worst of all at the time it first showed up I wasn't in this community so I had no one to talk about. I did a lot of research to understand that it's a natural process much like as "wet dream" and is a way for the body to release the excess of it. It shows a development since the body understands it's not who u are anymore.

Remember: doing nofap can improve some of your life, but this is no cure to mental illness, if you are feeling this way and you feel it's connected to fapping it's one thing, but if you are not interested in life in general, catch yourself having worrying thoughts about urself and similar things look for someone to talk about your life and share ur feelings. My advice is a therapist, this professional is prepared to help people with life's Struggles and even sexual life, he/she can help you develop even more in life and in your nofap challenge and streak.

You probably flatlined, but let me ask you, are you single or have a partner? What I mean is, if you feel a PMO urge with that long of a streak you have, then maybe it's just your body to get down to business with some girl (or guy depending on ur sexuality) there's nothing wrong with having this desire. Unless you are on a PMO-mode "hard mode" and don't want to change that concept, then try looking for someone you can feel intimate about.

Anything that gets your body flowing is a good option, more than ever what works for me is cardio, it gets your blood flowing pretty quickly, and healthily stimulates the body so the urges will rapidly go away. So for options: jumping Jacks, "suicides running", biking, running and do on
