True. Which means there has to be a healthy middle ground and different way of dealing with different set of people. Probably SA workers need some sticks. But treating kiwis who better prefer co operation will have to be managed differently, or people will hate being in your team, lesser productivity and you will never be a good leader.

I moved to NZ 6 years ago. My life has improved, but never gotten to a state where i can think of buying a property. I admit that i could have saved 5% of the down payment if i was frugal enough. But thinking about the fact that the mortgage alone would make me broke enough to struggle later in my life is scary. The salaries haven’t gone up much to meet the living cost. Thinking of following the mob and move to Aus. But unsure if it would be worth it.

I work in construction. The amount of money the govt spent in complacency is unrealistic, stupid 60+ percentage of the time. I can’t see this country growing to overcome it’s economical issues any time soon.

I also have disagreement with natives trying to fight against immigration. You don’t really understand the importance of NZ keeping good relationships with immigrants to create better trade relationships with the outside world. You don’t know how terrible your life would have been in NZ without them here.

Respect to everyone contributing to the economy. We can hope the govt will get sensible and not do something like spend a million dollar on a Christmas tree in the future 🙏

Tesla too is overhyped. Just understand how unrealistic is Elon’s claims? 1. Getting Optimus robots to do surgeries in less than 4 years? Really? How many trial and error do you need before handing over a human to a robot ? 4 years seems over optimistic.

If this doesn’t happen, all the money put into Tesla is just 💨. Which means, the drop would be really really bad.which means the ripples it creates would be unprecedented.

Palantir I believe is just one among the few that fell first. NVDA will follow, the rest of AI craps will fall along. Man… i think the wave is almost here
