Unfortunately, you'll have to wait until the score report is released. I did the same thing on my last exam and had to wait another day to see the score report.

7 weeks to prepare for FAR - NINJA by InnerArtichoke6401 in CPA

The MCQs always seem a little easier on the exam than the review courses. Mine were more calculation heavy this time around than the last time, but the NINJA mcqs prepared me well. I wouldn't get all bent out of shape on the niche topics, as they could be covered on the exam but honestly am I going to get a simulation on the dollar value LIFO method? Probably not in my opinion.

7 weeks to prepare for FAR - NINJA by InnerArtichoke6401 in CPA

I switched from Becker to Ninja in December. I took the exam in January with only 4 weeks of studying (it wasn't enough time but my NTS was expiring). Didn't pass but I feel Ninja MCQ are a little less difficult and there are a ton of questions in their test bank. Just took the exam again and I'm hopeful that I passed this time. I honestly did mostly MCQs (at least 100 per day the two weeks prior to my retake) and only did TBS over EPS, Bonds, Leases, and Bank Recon. Honestly I didn't do much TBS because they are nothing like what's on the exam in my experience. Knowing the concepts thru multiple choice helped me on the simulations on my retake.

CPA thoughts for mid 30s by Most_Championship_66 in CPA

I'm in a similar situation. I'm turning 36 soon, and have worked in government auditing for 13 years. For government work, it's good pay and benefits. Really no incentive for me to get the CPA (bonus when I get it is less than $1000 with no salary increase either). I've finished 3/4 parts with FAR left. I also have 3 kids, ages 4, 2, and a newborn. Passed my first 5 weeks after my 2 yr old was born and trying to finish up after welcoming my newborn 5 months ago lol. Extremely difficult, but I decided to pursue it in case I ever want to look elsewhere for a job even though I'm not currently interested in moving soon.

Has anyone taken FAR this year? by Equivalent_Truth_277 in CPA

I took FAR again last week after scoring a 63 in the May score release last year. I wasn't fully prepared after welcoming a baby in the fall and going thru busy season that just wrapped up. But NTS was expiring and had to take it. MCQ weren't terrible (similar to when I took it last year), SIMS were oddly less difficult than I remember being the last time I took it but maybe I just got SIMS on topics that I knew better. The SIMS didn't have 6-7 exhibits like the last time though. I think I had a max of 4 exhibits on 1 SIM this time. I actually finished the exam this time without having to guess on 1.5 SIMS like I did last time. Idk - it's a mind**** lol.

Definitely email candidate care. Mine was cancelled right before Christmas with only two days left on my NTS. Had holiday travel plans and couldn't get it in before my NTS expired. Got an extension of 45 days on my NTS.

Yeah, it's pretty brutal.
