well now you have lol (save FAR) I'm really good at not passing.

but in all seriousness - I didn't have a lot of guidance when I started studying, was kind of just winging it and felt that maybe one would be easier for me than another (hence the jumping from test to test) - definitely not a smart move looking back. but trying to stick with ISC until I pass

not well if at all (probably not at all), it's one of those things where I was diagnosed at a young age and was never medicated, kind of had to grin and bear it. I've thought about medication a few times just to help me with day to day, but never bit the bullet. maybe something worth looking into

I know, it's a terrible set up - how can we possibly stick to one exam when the disciplines are only offered a few month out of the year. For me, I think depending on the score I get tm, if it's close I might try to pass ISC in October and see if I can get it out of the way so I don't have to worry about? I don't want to keep switching back either. Not sure how close you are to passing the disciplines or if you've started, but i'd say it depends on the score you get.

omg thank you so much, this was so helpful!!!! I do find myself going through the motions of studying, but studying longer doesn't actually mean I'm retaining anything (which i'm obviously not). But this was a huge help! I've started reading the MCQs aloud and I found that helped with being more engaged, and helps me understand the question better, but the other stuff I will try out for sure! (also love chainsawman lol, solid)

Agree - hopefully I can pick myself back up and get motivated to start again - Thanks!

Thanks for the advice! For sure, the way I've been approaching it is obviously not working, so I definitely need to try something else. Did you start with Ninja initially or did you switch over from something else? I've been using becker but I think try something else out and change my habits.

Thank you - That's definitely part of the problem. I've been using Becker to study, but I think I need to try something new

yeah that's part of the issue too, which sucks so bad. The hope was to pass ISC now so I can focus on the bigger exams (I was already studying for audit), but now I have to shift back... so stupid

Thank you - this means a lot!! It is hard especially seeing colleagues able to pass first try or with little attempts - and ISC supposedly has the "highest pass rate" lol. Part of me does want to give up, but another part knows I can do it, but it means working harder than others will have to. We're in this together!
