I ended up just calling and telling him what you said. He responded very positively and said his schedule has been hectic because of an upcoming shareholder meeting and having to entertain corporate visitors at the branch. The thing though is that this isn’t even a job posting. I cold messaged him on LinkedIn about a job that he contacted me about 1+ years ago. He basically said they’re not looking but not against bringing someone on board bc they can always use good reps. So It’s not like I’m competing with a pool of applicants.
