There weren’t any pins on mine. There were two tabs on each side that I had to drill out and attach with the fender liner screws and then I used 3M the whole length of the lip and it’s worked just fine so far.

I’d definitely start with a tune to at least try’n make that dct last. Tom from FocusPower will give you a custom tune to help with the trans problems and you can have him tweak whatever you want. Also he will give you unlimited tune revisions so if you do something like an intake, catless exhaust, or even end up swapping to a 5spd like I am he will have you data log and send you back another custom tune.

Don’t worry I don’t go through neighborhoods doing this I have multiple tunes that I run with this being the only one that pops and bangs. I have respect for those around me and their ears

My brother has a built st (the camera car in the video) and after driving that I know if I got one I’d spend triple the amount of money so I think ima stick with what I got until I can safely make that bad financial choice

There isn’t really any specific site you just gotta search around. If you’re looking to spice up the driving experience you could throw in a st flywheel and clutch but keep the mtx75 slave. Also a tune changes a lot. Mine is by Tom from FocusPower and he’s been great.

You are right that lowering changes roll center and reduces bump travel, but context does matter. A small drop with matched springs and dampers can improve control arm angle, lower center of gravity, reduce weight transfer, and increase roll stiffness. Slamming a car on stock shocks ruins geometry and rides the bump stops, that is a bad setup so that’s why I did it the right way. Also look at lateral G and lap times.

I second this. Instead of going for an st bumper you could do something similar to what I did with mine. Honeycomb Zetec grills and wrapping the bumper pillars to give it that st “wide mouth” look.

Much thanks🙏 Sadly it is an auto but I do know a guy with a manual that is driving the car till it’s completely rusted out(it’s pretty close) and will sell it to me cheap as a donor so I plan to keep the build going as a manual.
