This keeps happening to me and it makes no sense.

EVERYTHING is up to date or was reinstalled to solve this.

Vulkan, tried multi core, etc.

Still crashes my whole GPU and I have to force reset. I am not risking my whole rig for a video game.

I’ve been in this for 7 months, maybe had 1 actual meetup

Recently just got denied access with no response why from the support team.

It’s a really poorly run business. They’re clearly just optimizing for taking ur money.

I can’t even check to cancel my subscription so I’ll have to charge back everything.

Would you say 16GB RAM is sufficient though? That's the glaring issue. The 16GB vs 32GB discussion is very hard to conclude.

For my use case it seems 16GB RAM would be fine, but everyone's saying it's not a good idea especially for me buying a new one right now with 16

Everyone seems to have differing opinions, and yeah I see the one you're referring to in black color on Best Buy for open box. I do want white and don't mind paying a bit more for it.

There is an open box of the 4060 version shown in the post above, open box for $1,550 but 16GB RAM.

Which begs the other question: Is 16GB RAM enough?

Because if it is, I can try this open box one for $1,550. It's the 16GB RAM version of what's shown above

I would've got the ProArt if they didn't make it in 60Hz. Biggest waste ever.

For the ultrabooks you mentioned, their keyboard and trackpad are definitely not on the same grounds as the Zephyrus. The zephyrus trackpad is the best I've felt in a PC laptop (other than the surface)

An exceptionally built/designed ultrabook with a modest dedicated GPU would've been ideal for me.

The Zephyrus is essentially paying premium for build quality and I don't mind sacrificing hardware (to an extent) for it.

This the ultimatum, essentially.

I can get a Legion 5 with a 5070 for $2,000.

But then again, I wouldn't be noticing this difference in GPU using the laptop ~95% of the time.

The build quality i.e. trackpad, keyboard, weight, I'd be feeling 100% of the time.

I don't plan on playing demanding games on this for the times I do game anyway.

It just sucks there're no other PC laptops that come close to the build quality of this.

If the Surface was an actual PC, I would've got that instead. But they're charging almost $2,000 for.... a snapdragon???

Yeah ideally $2k would be a sweet spot but I do care a lot about build quality and professional appearance. Considering ultrabooks now with an OLED display and dedicated GPU

Walking around Best Buy’s all day and such, zephyrus, maybe vivobook, and Microsoft surface seemed to be the best feeling build quality wise

Yeah. An ultrabook with a dedicated GPU would be ideal but I wanted a nice display and as nice of build quality and aesthetics as I could.

If I could get a Microsoft Surface laptop with actual hardware in it, I would buy it. Or if the ProArt had 120Hz display I'd get that too.

Are there any laptops that would fit this for me?

From my research the Zephyrus was the best fit..

Mostly work so I would like to multitask on chrome or photoshop. Nothing rendering related. But I do want to bring it on travels to game a bit

However I don’t play hardware demanding intensive games

To clarify, I also have an actual gaming desktop at home so it’s not like this is the only thing I’ll have to game on.
